Our wedding venue combines countryside tranquillity with easy accessibility. Just a short drive from the market town of Newtown and close to the England–Wales border, we’re perfectly placed for guests travelling from across Powys, Shropshire, and beyond. Excellent road links and nearby rail connections make the journey simple, whether your guests are coming from Cardiff, Birmingham, or further afield.

Despite its convenient location, the venue feels a world away from the everyday. With a large rolling drive out the front of the property, we have ample free parking for you and your guests.

Beaches

The nearest beaches are at Cardigan Bay, about an hour’s drive away. Aberdyfi and Borth are both Blue Flag sandy beaches perfect for families. Aberdyfi is a charming harbour resort with golden sands, crab fishing, water sports, and a nearby steam railway. Borth offers 3 miles of gently shelving sand, excellent surfing, and impressive dunes at the Dyfi National Nature Reserve.

Kerry Vale Vinyard

A small, family-run vineyard on the Welsh-English border, Kerry Vale Vineyard sits at the eastern tip of the Vale of Kerry on historic Roman fort land. Planted in 2010 across six acres, it produces award-winning wines.
