Weddings at The Forest Country House
Our venue offers exclusive use of the mansion house, featuring 7 en‑suite bedrooms, a dedicated ceremony room, a welcoming sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is outside terrace around the courtyard where entertainment can take place plus a marquee on the lawn for the wedding breakfast plus gardens and a woodland where guests may gather and take photographs.
As well as the 7 bedrooms in the house we also have 4 charming cottages, offering 10 bedrooms for up to 20 guests across a mix of two‑bedroom and three‑bedroom layouts, with additional children’s beds available where needed. In total we can accommodate around 35 to 40 guests, with parking for 40 cars.
SPECIAL OFFER: For 2026 year we are offering some very special deals: For all weddings booked in 2026 we offer a reduction of 40% for weddings held in 2026, 25% for weddings held in 2027 and a 10% discount for those in 2028.
A £1000 deposit secures the venue followed by a payment plan and to help with finances we can also manage guest accommodation bookings on your behalf should guests wish to pay for their own rooms with all deducted from the venue price.

We can host your wedding from start to finish. We offer full venue rental, event planning, accommodation, a bar and catering services tailored to your needs. We have a selection of wooden games which your guests can enjoy throughout the weekend and can offer a meal both the night before, and a casual BBQ the day after. Our dedicated team is here to make your day truly special and if you have any specific requests in mind, please just ask.

Yes absolutely! Our gardens are the perfect setting for this. For weddings in 2026, a classic rectangular marquee will be provided on the lawn for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Couples who prefer an alternative marquee design from one of our trusted suppliers are welcome to hire one, with a £750 reduction applied to the venue hire cost. From 2027 onwards, our beautifully restored stable barn will replace the marquee as the main reception space, though you may still choose to hire a marquee if it suits your vision.
